The family of Donald Trump confirmed that Ivana Trump, the former president's first wife, died at the young age of 73.

Donald Trump described his first wife as "a beautiful, wonderful, and incredible woman who lived a great, inspiring life."

New York Police Department stated in a statement, that Ivana Trump was unresponsive on the scene. Emergency Medical Services declared her dead.

There was no evidence of foul play, and the medical examiner of the city will determine the cause of death.

In the 1970s, she moved to Canada and became a ski instructor. She then began a modeling career.

She met Donald Trump in 1976 while on a New York work trip. They were married in 1977

Donald Trump Jr. was her first child. He was followed by Ivanka and Eric in 1981.

Tabloids covered the couple's failing marriage and eventually, they divorced in 1992.

Ivana Trump's three adult children, 

 Donald, Ivanka, and Eric, are her survivors, along with several grandchildren.
