The Milwaukee Brewers Monday have been reported to have made a trade for the closer Josh Hader to the San Diego Padres.

According to ESPN that the team's return with Brewers Brewers is a quartet-player chase which also includes Padres closer,

Taylor Rogers has converted 28 of his 35 save chances this season.

Milwaukee also receives right-handed pitcher Dinelson Lamet, as well as minor-league prospect Robert Gasser,

A left-handed pitcher and an outfielder Esteury Ruiz.

Hader the 28-year-old is currently in the middle of the fourth all-star season

One of which he started by recording saves in all in his initial 18 games which is a major league record.

Hader has since recovered and pitched more effectively in subsequent games

As of the time of this writing, Hader is 1-4 with a 4.24 earned run average with a WHIP of 1.12,

A major league-leading 29 saves in 34 games.

Hader has been able to strike out 59 batters in 34 innings.

With one year of arbitration left Hader is likely to earn more than $15 million in this coming season.

The deadline for trading on Tuesday, and there is a chance for additional Brewers' actions to be taken.

A price tag that's probably outside Brewer's comfort zone given the right-hander's recent woes.
