On Tuesday, his ex-wife Lucia Frangione announced through Twitter that the “wonderful Michael Kopsa, my good friend and the father of my kid, Nora, passed away Oct 23 2022 from a brain tumor.”

“He was a great painter, pianist, carpenter, voice actor, and stage and screen performer. His role as a loving and generously present father was most crucial.”

He has played prominent roles in movies, such as Beast in “X-Men: Evolution” from 2000.

Kopsa played the lead roles in “Apollo 18” and “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” in 2011.

For “Dragon Ball Z,” “Death Note,” “Iron Man: Armored Adventures,” and other video games, he also collaborated on voiceover projects.
